I heard about Sergio Luiten when I was flying to Mallorca with my ‘ kymonkeyyys' comrades some years ago.

I was operating a UL Power-FK12 Comet those days and once I realized Sergio is a very sophisticated engineering mechanic with lots of aeronautical experience I immediately contacted him for solutions in regards to dealing with power unit challenges on my Tarragon aircraft.

The Tarragon Aircraft is designed to be very fast and needed a stronger propulsion system than a Rotax 914 - Edge Performance Turbo Engine (155hp), which is what I was operating the Aircraft with at that time. However, this created some extremely dangerous situations due to motor breakdowns. So I completely lost confidence in this EP-system and decided to change for UL Power. Being in a situation you can easily lose your life doesn't make you feel good. That’s why in this case Sergio was the only solution for me.

What I was hoping to achieve was to find multiple solutions for my aircraft: (A) Aquire the propulsion system with a powerful and reliable motor. (B) Cowling adaption, (C) building in the motor properly (D) Get the new motor to run with a propeller that fits my specifications.

My experience with Sergio was very good! Sergio is a reliable person, Wealth of knowledge and craftsmanships experience with a sense of creativity that lead to satisfying results. He is super focused and he loves his work and very fun to work with.

I think that the Tarragon Aircraft manufacturer could benefit greatly to offer a range of UL Power motors for their aircraft from factory, such as the UL 350, UL 390 and UL 520. Sergio most definitely can also help them by creating cowlings and the right motor installations through his consultation and craftsmanship.
